Lord of the Universe, Father who knows us intimately,

I raise my hands in worship this day.

Thank You for Your holiness and sovereignty

Which teaches us to measure our lives,

Discovering anew our intense need for Your guidance

And direction, and correction, and intense sorrow

For our sinfulness and depravity.

You who made heaven and earth,

Who crowned this creation with the beauty of color and design
