When we count on our own strength, we throw pity parties. This section of “Life-Changing Water” reveals the foolishness of our self-sufficiency, for we are lacking the life-giving water, and thirst in agony until we find our rest in our Sovereign Lord. This is a difficult part of the book, dealing with annoyance, impatience, broken relationships, hurting families, physical insufficiency, aging, and yes, mortality. These are the deserts, far from the life-giving abundance of the blessings of water. Can you…..
From my new book, “Life-Changing Water,” an original psalm “Trials–God Teaches through Tempests and Storms.”
My Psalm 210
Dear Heavenly Father, Creator,, yet Abba, Father,
Your rich blessings fall on me
Like the thunderous showers of yesterday!
You drench me with Your love,
You saturate me with Your Presence

from my newest book, Life-Changing Water soon to be published, this is a psalm of loneliness. In this section of the book, I deal with the lack of water, needing God. We cannot live without water; the Christian cannot live without close relationship with the Savior.
My Psalm 216

I know, I know. I’m six days late. The holidays took their toll on us. The family has been sick. It’s humbling to discover yet again that I am a mere mortal, and that tiny viruses can cause such misery. It started as a mere cold. Usually I knock those off in 3 days with Airborne and a little rest and TLC. This one, no way. Two doctor visits, more meds than I can count, at least ten full boxes…..
