Lenten Prayer My Psalm 344 March 29, 2018 Legacy
Everlasting Father, Eternal and Omnipotent,
Hear our prayer for our children.
You promised to be our God
If we would be Your covenant people.
You told us to write Your words on the doorposts
Of our homes, and on our hearts.
You taught us to speak of them to our children,
When we rose up, when we went upon our way,
When we made our beds in various places,
Your…..
You are Mighty, Powerful, Omniscient and Omnipresent.
Thank you for governing my waking and sleeping.
In the silent recess of nighttime, You wake me to prayer.
Thank You for the silence which brings to mind
The names of those who need intercession.
You know their needs before I do, better than they do.
I pray Your Divine touch on each organ,
Even each rebel rogue cell.
Bring balance and strength and restore health.
For those troubled, I pray your…..
Lenten Prayer My Psalm 341 March 27, 2018
Dear Heavenly Father, Provider of all good things,
Sustainer of Creation, Merciful to all, Abba, Father,
We glorify Your Name and thank You for Your Son, Jesus.
We celebrate this special week, this Holy Week
For in it, we recognize the immensity of Your sacrifice
To fulfill Your Covenant promise, “ I will be Your God.”
May we in worship and renewed lives fulfill our part,
“We will be Your people…..
My Psalm 340 Three Triumphal Entries Palm Sunday March 2
I Palm Sunday
All praise to the King of Kings
Lord of Lord, who comes
In the name of The Almighty
Hosanna!
He rides mounted on a donkey
As prophesied,
To praises and cheers from the crowd.
He enters Jerusalem,
Palm fronds and garments thrown down,
Proclaimed as King of Kings
The very Son of God.
I I The Ascension
Lift high the gates,…..
When my heart is burdened, O Lord,
You remind me through Your Spirit
That You are in control,
That I need not fear, That I cannot long mourn
That I have all that I need,
That I can trust You
To raise the sun this morning,
Provide for our daily needs,
Erect tall hedges of protection,
Protect my soul from the evil one,
Bring joy out of sorrow,
Answer life’s perplexing questions,
And remind me of the joy of my…..
My Psalm 338 Strength for New Challenges March 22, 2018
Heavenly Father, Lord and Master,
There is a balm in Gilead where the sin-sick
And world-weary can go to find succor, healing and rest.
And beside those still waters You lead me still
To restoration and revelation of Your mercy and grace.
And perhaps, when my weary feet can gain the altitude,
You’ll lead me once again to the hills
From whence comes my strength.
There glimpses of the…..
Lenten Prayer My Psalm 337 Freedom March 21, 2018
Dear Heavenly Father, Lord of All,
We rejoice as we read the words of Paul this day:
“Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!”
Because of Jesus’ love for us,
Because of His sacrifice,
We live in a loving relationship with Him.
No longer is there fear of being separated
From Your Presence, from Your influence in our lives,
Since, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit,
…..
Lenten Prayer My Psalm 334 Glory March 19, 2018
Dear Lord and Heavenly Father
I rejoice that one day this mortal life will end
And You have promised I will live with You in Glory.
I love mystery, and You tell us
No eye has seen, no ear has heard
What You have prepared for us.
If the glory of Your heavens,
And the beauty of every detail of creation
Is a clue to that final revelation,
We will bow…..
Lenten Prayer My Psalm 334 Assurance March 18, 2018
Lord God, Almighty to Save,
We come into Your Presence this day
With thanksgiving and praise to Your Name.
For without fear or shame
We can bow in Your Presence
Because of the work of salvation
Of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Sinful though we are, living in self-worship
Instead of being constantly in praise of Your Name,
Your love for the world, Your love for me
And the…..
Lenten Prayer My Psalm 332 Hope March 16, 2018
Almighty God, Merciful Father, Creator of all,
With joy we praise Your Name this day.
When we were lost, sinful, disobedient,
You loved us enough to want us to know You intimately.
You promised to be our God if we became Your children,
And although we stumble and fall, and
Sometimes defy You like mischievous toddlers,
You come to us patiently forgiving us repeatedly
When we follow our own will, neglecting…..
