My Psalm 159
O Lord, our Lord, how marvelous are Your ways
In all the earth. You ask that we come to You
With psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,
And we join the throngs in shouting “Alleluia,
Holy is the Lord of Lords, Hosanna in the Highest,
And Worthy is the Lamb to be Praised. Amen.”
We fall down before Your throne in adoration
This day and every day, acknowledging that
We are woefully sinful, unable to live this life
Without the saving grace You provided
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We thank You. We praise You.
We yearn for the day when we will be in Your Presence,
Forever, eternally.
We ask for Your hedge of protection for those we love
In this life, for Your guidance over our very footsteps,
And certainly over our thoughts and actions.
Keep Your Word ever before us, ever in us,
for it is our guide and strength in this earthly life.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
