Sharing the plenty in 2020. Waiting is hard. Waiting for a birthday or Christmas as a child seemed interminable. Waiting for things to “open up” after this horrid plague is frustrating. Awaiting the birth of a child or grandchild is a time of anticipation that seems to take forever until that special birth day. Hosea in the Bible expressed it this way: “Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of my love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that He may come and shower righteousness upon you.” It takes preparation for something we’re waiting for, and patience and getting ready are hard for us. This day may we be filled with the knowledge that good things are worth waiting for and their fulfillment is so very sweet when we’ve prayed for the outcome that finally arrives. God bless your day, with joy that we can look forward to God’s answers to prayer when the timing is just right.
