Only in thanksliving can we share grace and peace with others. Only when we recognize that God loves us and cares for us and cares about us can we translate that thanksliving into acts of peace, grace, mercy, and love.
I choose to look upward to God, thanking Him for His provision, His gift of salvation, and His mercy. Others may look to wealth, status, politics, and the world’s allure to give them joy. These are fleeting, and all too soon, the scriptures say, turn to rust and rot away. In Jesus, I possess all I need. Although there are challenges (I’m currently praying for several who are critically ill, I remember those being persecuted for their faith in the Lord, and I’m concerned because of decisions made a year ago today because of ego and lack of respect for our Nation’s Capitol building, and COVID is attacking many and causing much grief), I know that in the panoply of history, this is but a nanosecond while God’s mercy is eternal. So, today, I again call on us to embrace peace and grace to share with others, and Just do it in Twenty-Two and always, and rejoice that God is sovereign, has plans for us who are true to the faith, and He will provide continuously with Scripture, prayer, and song. I choose to live triumphantly and thankfully as His child.
