We have no idea what the new year will bring, but I know, with utter confidence, that I know God and He holds my hand as I enter 2023. I will endeavor to look for His Godincidences, places where he shows grace and mercy to those who believe He is the sovereign ruler of the universe, yet knows my name and guides my life.
Proverbs 4:21-22 says: “Don’t lose sight of my words. Let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning.” I take that to mean that God gives us life and health as we open our hearts to His Word. So, just as I know that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” God continued to create the universe and he tells us in His word that Jesus, our savior, was present from before time and is present with us daily. That’s enough of a message for me to enter the new year. May we look for His blessing each day.
