Monday Memoirs: You Are Unique Anthology #2
Members of the “You Are Unique” group met from April to June, 2024 and have produced their second volume of work. Many of these octogenarians and older said they had nothing to say and could never write, but responded to pictures, prompts, and encouragement. They delight in sharing each other’s stories and have progressed from writing single sentences to pages of memories for others to read. In this anthology, they chronologically examine their life experiences to discover the legacy they wish to leave for children, grandchildren, friends, and other. Some are stories they’ve never shared before. They are indeed unique, and are now authors. The group will have their second book signing on August 5th and have already sold eighty copies of their book. It has been my joy to mentor this group, and we plan a holiday anthology for gifts to those we love.
