Betty Whitaker Jackson

From January to March, 2024 a group of first-time writers met weekly to write personals stories. The class is called “You Are Unique,” and its purpose is to allow these octogearians opportunities to leave legacies to their families. Using picture prompts, they tell stories of experiences their family members may not know. These  personal essays and reflections plus their own obituaries are important because no one knows them better than they know themselves, and all too soon, some of these stories will be lost forever. As a special treat, these writers were honored with a book-siging event and sold eighty copies of their book.
