This book deals with millennial themes of career, military deployment, parenthood, sandwich generation, commitment, single parenting, second marriage, and end-of-life issues. Set in the paradise of Brevard County, Florida, it tells the story of Sarah, a critical care nurse, and the provision God makes for her because of her faithfulness. Sarah in this story represents hundreds of young women in our time who use their most “fertile” years to advance their careers, or who have given up on the idea of marriage. They, like the Sarah in this story, wonder whether they will ever marry and have typical families. This is a story of perceived expectations, and as Sarah’s story, deals with millennial questions from a distinctly Christian perspective.
