I’ll admit it, I’m sometimes anxious. I live in a fallen world, with perceived dangers and trials and worries and even rumors of war assailing me this morning. God made us sensitive and aware, and He gave us caring hearts, so it hurts to see possible dangers which could adversely affect us. I’m busy writing my next book, Bless You Bouquets, in which I recount the ten homes we’ve lived in, the gardens I’ve nurtured, and the people who have blessed my life. I make Bless You Bouquets often for people’s birthdays, as get well gifts, and sometimes just to brighten people’s days. We were blessed by a message yesterday in church about dealing with discouragement, troubles, disappointments, or what I call “junk.”
On the outside, I’m usually the smiling, “I can handle anything” type of personna, but that’s often a charade, probably to make myself feel better. I choose to look at the brighter side. I mean, really, if God is in charge of the world, and in particular, my life and the lives of those I love, what’s to worry about? …..
