O Lord, my Lord and Savior
I was stressed and distressed
My body tired, my mind exhausted
Until I turned to Your Word.
Like the balm in Gilead,
Like the refreshing streams where
You make me lie down in Your peace,
You comforted me, renewed me
Said to me, “I am Your Lord.
Why can’t You let Me be Your strength?”
And with your right hand of fellowship
You lifted my spirit, You grew my strength.

I have much to be thankful for, and I am. I attempt each day to thank God for His rich blessings to me and my family, my country, my world. I like to call my attitude thanksliving.
