November 29
The Psalmist writes, “When I consider the heavens, what is man that You are mindful of Him?” Indeed, I could not have expressed it better. To think that the Lord of the Universe has visited me, his child, and has blessed me with life, with strength, with home and family, with work, with Christian friends and mentors, with teachers, with tall hedges of protection, with peace, dignity, and love, I am indeed living in gratefulness to Him.
Hopefully this experience of sharing my story is a vicarious way of helping you, my readers, to reflect on your specific situations, and to rejoice in thanksgiving, even if things are not ideal on a day to day basis. For not everything in this fallen world is wonderful. I confess to knowing and accepting that. But I know who can change our attitudes about it all into an attitude of gratitude.
Today’s Scripture: “The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him for, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Prayer: Lord, today I call on Your Name, knowing that You expect my soul to come to You, Master of the Universe, Master of my life, and in a spirit of gratefulness, I come dedicating who I am, who You have made me, to live for Your glory and praise forever. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
November 29 Thanksliving Journal: for remembering that God loves even me, and gave His Son to save me.

November 29: Items, pictures, sketches, photos of assurance that God has saved me to serve Him, a legacy of memories, a place I’ll return when I need reminders of evidence of His love for me in every situation.
Scripture references that God loves me enough to provide a savior for me, and that He has plans to use me for His Kingdom.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3: 16-18)
“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are Go’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.” (Romans 8: 16-17)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. “ (Ephesians 6: 10-13)
