Today’s verse from Psalm 43:3-4 says: “Send out Your light and Your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to Your holy mountain to the place where You live. There I will go to the altar of God, to God–the source of all my joy. I will praise You with my harp, O God, my God!” Fortunately, as New Testament Christians, we can go to God anywhere, for He lives within our hearts. We can worship him on a car ride, in the office, or as I used to do with two toddlers, in the privacy of the bathroom. We do not have to play the harp, either. We can worship Him in our daily activities: in our prayers, in making soup, in the “on hold” times on phone calls, or as we wake or drift off to sleep. If He wants us to play the harp, we’ll take harp lessons in heaven (or here, another of my bucket list wishes). Daily Vitamin to grow your soul: whatever we do today, let us glimpse the moments of joy, looking for the Godincidences in an otherwise compromised culture. Look for answers to prayers. A big one yesterday for us. God is with us. He promised to be, and in His time, He will claim the victory. May we look expectantly today. Amen? (certainly not A-woman as the chaplain of the House of Representatives espoused yesterday with the new language rules of gender neutrality being imposed on all government business. In the beginning, God created man and woman. Man cannot change God’s directives. Amen!
