Colossians 2:7 says: “Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him, so you will grow in faith, strong, and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives over flow with thanksgiving for all He has done.”
It is difficult to think about things positively right now with COVID, isolation, chaos in government, and concerns about our society’s path forward. But we are assured that what really matters is our close relationship with the God of the universe who reigns and sees the whole picture. If our nation is to be prosecuted for rejecting God’s principles, then those of us who are praying for revival will be the strong voices urging our contemporaries to return. Our nation is not promised continuance, If we have learned one thing in the last year, it is that we are vulnerable. While our government sits idly by, nourishing only their power, the people, divided, perish in disease, despair, distrust, and division. The root cause: the original sin. while we say, In God We Trust, we ignore His commanments and His covenant. He will be our God only if we obey his laws.
He, and He alone will provide the nourishment. We can, and will grow in faith, strong and vigorous. And to His Name belongs the Thanksgiving and Praise His guidance deserve. Amen (so be it) and certainly not A-woman as was proclaimed in the House of Representatives. That does not represent my So Be It!
