Genesis 1:26 says, “ThenGod said, “Let’s make people in Our image to be like Ourselves.” So God created people in His own image. God patterned them after Himself; male and female. He created them. God looked over all He had made, and He saw that it was excellent in every way.” Before Adam and Eve sinned, the world and they were perfect. No evil. No sin. No disease. No Covid. No death. Man, however, wanted more. The need for power corrupted. The need for power today corrupts, surely. Pray today that our country repents, says, “God, help us to return to Your commandments, Your rule, Your deliverance. We bow to You for mercy, but if this retribution brings us to our knees, we follow Your will. Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed by Thy Name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. So Be it.
