Following Pastor Jonathan’s sermon on Ministry Fair Sunday, I offered to compile a book of Covenant members’ and friends’ testimonies of how we came to faith in Jesus Christ.Someone, following the Holy Spirit’s lead, brought you to church, or convinced you in a discussion, or prayed for your salvation, or influenced you to seek Jesus as your Savior. BRIEFLY tell your story ( limit of three sentences for each part of this outline), by July 1st, 2016, and we’ll share this book to show that our witnessing to each other really does make a difference. Send to bjack2723@aol.com marked Cloud of Witnesses. Open to all attendees, members, former members, adults, and children.
Thank you for sharing your story and continuing to witness to others. As Jonathan reminded us, we are all ministers, sharing our love of Christ with others.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses (chapter 11), let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12, 1-3)Jesus told His disciples, and us: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 19)
“For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.. . . This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven. . .To them (us) God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians chapter 1)
