Easter brings us hope. We have the joy of knowing that God answers Prayer.
My Psalm 167
O Lord, Healer of our bodies and souls,
We come to You this day in prayer
For Your saints who suffer illness in this life.
You have called on us to lift others in prayer
And we have seen evidence of Your healing Presence.
Today we lift up those dear ones we love
Who are suffering illnesses only You can heal.
We thank You for those You’ve given them
To minister aid and comfort,
But we boldly come to You asking for healing
Which only You can provide.
We know where our strength comes from
And we bless You for another day
When we can worship and serve Your Name.
We, with Your servant Paul, give thanks to You
Whatever our state, for You are the Source of all
And sovereign in all.
We thank You for answering our prayers
For we are called to pray with thanksgiving,
And we thank You for how these saints have
Enriched our lives here on earth,
And look forward to joining with them in all eternity
Where we will praise You forever.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
