Has it occurred to anyone besides me that we are being not only subjects of the government, but manipulated as well? The media mouthpiece blares inconsistencies, and we are force-fed arguments, policies, and one-sided arguments which insult our intelligence and create confusion, angst, anger, and frustration. Case in point: public servants who have healed our sick, enforced our laws, taught our children, cared for the dying, and protected our nation are the very ones serving as sacrificial lambs and scapegoats for government agencies frustrated because they can’t control COVID. Wake up! I believe, as do many, that intentionality was behind the worldwide pandemic. It was designed to confuse, contradict, and yes, to kill many and create worldwide disarray. Be that as it may, globally, governments are creating mandates against the very ones who have valiantly fought it on the front lines. Instead of thanking them for their service and sacrifice, we take their livelihood away and make them pariahs. Where’s the justice in that?
Mandates and edicts and proclamations, and orders were used by insensitive kings in history as far back as Bible times. Listening to petitions of the people made the American experiment different. It is why the masses have come here and continue to do so. Now mandates divide us, and frustration grows.
I predict that when the American people have had enough of MISuse of government authority and mismanagement, they will once more demonstrate that in this country, the government does not rule by dictate or mandate, but at the pleasure of the people. We pay their salaries, we ask them to represent us. When in fact they fail in that mission, the power of the people will do the mandating, and change is occur. It . It may be loud. There will be name-calling. There will be demonstrations and marches and public showing of outrage. But, I predict that because we have known freedom, it, like Pandora’s hope, can never be repressed. The public will mandate change.
