My Psalm 154
O Lord, my Lord, how marvelous are Your works!
You place your creation in time and space and it is good.
You woke me to Your glory this new day, and I thank You.
You provide food, shelter, hope, love, and sustenance for yet another day
And I thank You for each portion of Your mercy.
When difficulties assail, You are my refuge.
When health fails, You are healer.
When temptation tempts, You are my citadel.
When worries steal sleep, You calm and comfort.
When storms rage, You protect.
When darkness troubles my soul, You bring light and hope.
O Lord, My Lord, how marvelous are Your works
And your enduring love
That even saved one such as me, that even looks upon my face
And sees one redeemed.
My soul magnifies Your Holy Name! Amen.
