Amazing story of God’s grace. My Psalm 333 You Love Even Me
MY PSALM 332 YOU LOVE EVEN ME
Almighty Lord, Creator, Sustainer,
You govern the Universe, things seen and unseen
You count, name each star, and connect every sinew,
Spin planets, make atoms, yet call me by name,
The rocks, hills, the mountains, the rivers, the flowers
Bring praise, adoration, and worship You, Lord
Each bird song is part of the harmony of spheres
I praise Your Great Name, singing hymns of thanksgiving,
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
When I see Your vast blessings, unmerited treasures
Your Spirit-filled Word showing grace, truth, and love,
With child-like awe I read stories of prophets
Who tell of Christ’s coming, one day He’ll redeem.
Old Testament heroes, feet of clay just like mine
You used to Your glory, examples for me.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving,
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
This Jesus, Your Son, my Redeemer, my Master
Leaps from the pages of Your Holy Word
Your Spirit is speaking through stories in Scripture
Bringing true restoration, I’m an heir of the King!
I see deeds and great miracles, the calming of seas
Hear the words, feel His Presence, calling me to believe.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
So complacent, I lounge in my comfortable church pew,
Tolerate, coddle my sin’s self-control,
Ignoring my idols, sin blinding my soul’s sight,
Receiving rich blessings I do not deserve.
I remember my Savior, My Lord, Son of God
Who counted it nothing to give up His throne.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
Scratchy straw in a manger, dusty life of a nomad,
No comforts, no meal plan, no roof overhead,
No complaining, no shirking,
Though betrayed, bullied, scorned
Suffering pain, indignity, deprivation, and shame
This Lamb of God bled, even died, for redemption,
Richest treasure, salvation, forgiveness for me.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving,
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
When I weep at the cross, filled with agony and shame
That sin’s ugly toll could demand such a price,
That prophecy told us, You’d send us a Savior
Messiah, Deliverer, Your Son sacrificed,
I humbly bow in Your Presence and cry out
“Great is Your faithfulness, to show us such love.”
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
I thank You for parallels, revealing Your Love’s plan:
From Eden’s transgressions to “All knees shall bow,”
As You opened Mom’s womb to conceive and receive me
You opened Easter’s tomb, birthed eternity’s reign.
Nicodemus’s question about his true birthday
Showed John 3: 16 true for all of mankind.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving,
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
When earth work was finished, He ascended as planned
To Heaven’s throne awaiting to one day return
To welcome His church, His believers, His Bride
To the Great Feast when all generations shall gather
Every tongue, every nation, his disciples, each tribe
To be in His Presence, eternity sharing.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymn of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
In Your wisdom, you sent us Your Spirit to comfort,
To teach, to reveal, to sustain, to compel
That Pentecost day when in wind and in fire
You launched Holy Spirit to reach the whole world,
Your loved ones could speak in all tongues to reveal You
To those You will welcome one day at the Feast.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymns of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me.
I’ll thank you forever for the gift of the Spirit
Who lives in me, keeps my soul safe ‘til that day!
When I’m burdened with cares, leaning only on Your grace
I find comfort in knowing I’m held in Your hands
You are closer, much closer, when troubles assail me
For it’s then that I realize I can’t do it alone.
I praise Your Great Name with my hymn of thanksgiving
My attitude of gratitude, You love even me. Amen.
