On this Sabbath, when our world seems to be in turmoil and strife is rampant, let us fill our churches where we find answers to the big questions, balm for our souls, comfort and peace, and God’s plan. We’ve seen how vulnerable we are, with COVID, political strife, and threats to our very way of life. Susie Larson, in Blessings for Every Day says this today: “May the Lord enlarge your territory, expand your influence, and increase your capacity to walk in faith. May His hand of power be upon you in a way that marks everything you do. May He keep you from harm–both causing and enduring it–and may He use you to bless a world very much in need. May He surprise you with breakthroughs and still water Sabbath moments. Your Shepherd has place His hand on blessing upon your head, and He will faithfully lead you. Have a lighthearted joy-filled day today!” Psalm 118:28-29 says: “You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, and I will exalt You. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
