“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will gibe you rest. Take my youke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. May these words from Matthew 11:28-30 help you share the plenty in 2020, even when things seem dark and trouble are heavy. Susie Larson writes in Blessings for Every Day, “May the phrase “let go and let God” take on a whole new meaning for you. May you learn to rest while He works on your behalf. May you understand your role in the Kingdom story and do only what He tells you to do. May you live free from the bondage of others’ opinions so you’re free to love them the way Christ does. And may others be so drawn to your healed heart that they come to know Jesus for themselves. Rest in Him.” Books make great gifts. See mine at www.bettyjackson.net
